Getting the Job Done Right

We encourage the use of a professional installer and finisher and work with many in the Northeast. Be sure to discuss with them or others the exact look and feel you want to achieve. We by no means are discouraging the "would be homeowner" to do this on their own but we do want to emphasize that installation and finishing are two inherently differing skill sets. A quality finishing job can hide / correct the errant hammer blow, the dent from a slipped nailer etc. Of course if you want a truly rustic look and feel then let the imperfections and dings shine through on a traditional wood floor.
